Just hours ago, Sarah Palin announced her decision not to run for president in 2012. In a
Facebook note to supporters, Palin also made a call for energy independence and, interestingly enough, renewable energy:
I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including the race for President, where our candidates must embrace immediate action towards energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables.
Not bad for someone who just last month referred to solar panels as a
harebrained idea.
